German-based Noah Bazee has an injury could hanging over him which has put in doubt his hopes of a debut for Nigeria’s Super Eagles later this month.
Bazee was named in coach Gernot Rohr’s squad for two friendlies against Senegal and Burkina Faso in the upcoming international window.
Both matches will be played at the Hive Stadium in London, with the Super Eagles facing Senegal on March 23, followed by a clash against the Burkinabe four days later.
Bazee is hoping to make his debut for Rohr’s side in the matches, but a knee injury saw him miss training for his German club Hannover 96 on Wednesday.
The Nigerian also missed training sessions ahead of Hannover’s recent matches against 1860 Munich and Karlsruhe.
Bazee is not the only injury worry for the Super Eagles, with Chelsea’s Victor Moses also likely to miss out on the friendlies due to a calf strain.
